Thanks Insomnia
04:30 hrs.
I don’t think I have ever seen a night sky as clear as right now from my balcony, even with all the light pollution here in Puerto del Carmen, Lanzarote.
The usually rather faint looking constellations of Scorpio and Sagittarius in the South are particularly pretty and there are billions of tiny, nameless stars sparkling everywhere, like white glitter.
Sometimes insomnia is a good thing. 😉
Photo of Orion and Canis Major I took in January of this year…

I miss that; being able to just walk outside and see Orion. And the stars do look closer there too!
Orion is now only just about visible (will be back in about October/November) just after sunset. I always seem to miss “him” in the summer. 🙂
