Perseids Meteor Shower 2012
Don´t forget, folks! Get yourself out to a really really dark location tonight after midnight to watch the Perseids, best seen in the Eastern sky (along with the brilliant Venus, Jupiter and the crescent moon) an hour or so before dawn.
Last year I was freezing my a*se off watching this and only managed to catch two shooting stars, but this year Lanzarote is sweltering in a heatwave and it will still be around 27 degrees Celsius in the early morning hours. I hope I won´t be too groggy to drive cause this time I want to be going out there somewhere, maybe to La Asomada, where there is a lot less background light… *sets alarm
