Total Lunar Eclipse 27 July 2018

The total lunar eclipse of 27th July 2018 was the longest eclipse this century, with the totality phase lasting a whopping 138 minutes! And for an extra treat, with the moon looking red, planet Mars was right next to the moon in all its red glory! Looking south, a little further to the right of the moon, there was also Saturn and the super bright Jupiter (can’t miss that one, it’s the brightest thing in the sky, apart from Venus in the northwest). If you didn’t get to see it, here are some of my photos – I had to put up with a lot of cloud, but still got some good shots in between.
